Bio
My name is Pedro Melo, I’m a writer based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Since a very early age, I’ve enjoyed video games and have been an avid reader. So when my older brother introduced me to tabletop RPGs it was love at first dice, I instantly knew I would be crafting narratives and stories for the rest of my life. Writing has been a constant in my life ever since.
Since 2011, I’ve been studying TTRPGs game design and running games exclusively on settings and systems of my creation. I’ve written lore bibles, countless adventures, and characters. I’ve also tinkered and experimented with game systems, making various new RPG classes/archetypes and game mechanics to introduce in my campaigns.
I’ve ran years-long campaigns that ranged from cosmic horror, mecha battles, and comedic monty python-esque adventures to police procedurals. So I’m comfortable writing and crafting stories in any context needed. I enjoy the challenge of creating an emotionally resonant, cohesive, and tonally consistent story, no matter the medium.
This career shift arose from a need to do something more fulfilling, and while I may be new to this field professionally, I’m confident in my ability as a writer. If you’re looking for a hard-working writer/narrative designer for your project, please contact me!
